The Goal

Our chapter has taken on the role of convener and facilitator in tackling health justice issues by creating the Scholars for Improvement Program. The mission of this program is to teach learners in our community about continual improvement ideas, with a practical focus on application to community health and organization settings. Collectively, we provide a place to learn how to voice concerns, tackle complex issues, and implement lasting changes.

Monthly sessions have the following threads:

Leader/expert discussion about the session’s topic.
Community health project thread to tackle a health justice issue, co-produced between the leadership team and the learners.
